What the game stores, and where
Your inventors (the names you type and the avatars you pick), your progress and your settings (such as music and sound volume) are saved only on your own device, in the app's local storage. They never leave the device. Deleting the app deletes them.
The game does not ask for your name, e-mail, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information, and it has no in-app purchases.
Third parties
- Apple. On iPad, the game may show Apple's own "rate this app" prompt. Apple handles that prompt and anything you choose to send; see Apple's privacy policy. If you test the game through TestFlight, Apple may share crash reports and feedback that you choose to send with us.
- Steam. If you get the game on Steam, Valve handles your Steam account and purchase under its own privacy policy.
- The game contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking code.
This website
playkludgeworks.com is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them against abuse. The front page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you open it. This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics.
Children
Kludgeworks is made for players of all ages, including children. Because the game collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.
Your rights and contact
The game is made by LEVEL46 Games (Svenska IT Rådet AB, Sweden). We hold no personal data about players. If you have a question about privacy, or want to use your rights under the GDPR, write to support@playkludgeworks.com.
Changes
If the game ever starts handling personal data, for example through an online feature, we will update this page before that happens.
